How To Stop The Unethical and Unhealthy Pet Foods:
- Only buy dog food from the dog foods listed in the recommended section of this website or ones you have researched and have found safe. (Meaning nothing artificial or synthetic, labeled meat based, no class actions, no or low recalls and non harmful animal testing.)
- Make sure your pet is cremated or properly buried after death and not sent to a rendering pant, check with your vet what they do with it, if they don't say it will be cremated or buried take it home and bury it or find someone who can cremate it. (Vets often give dead pets to dead stock collectors, where pet bodies go from there could be a render plant, which means it could go into pet food.)
- Request your local pet store to supply dog foods from the recommended list.
- Ask you local reps to pass a bill making stricter requirements, such as no BHT,BHA, and other artificial things, to make labeling stricter without loop holes (See dirty tricks) and to have all pets required to be cremated or buried after death for they are not put into pet food.
- Educate yourself! Research dog food, companies, etc. (Highly recommend starting from the section list of recommended books, websites and etc.)
